Crystal Cove, 1/1/2007
I took these at Crystal Cove at about 3:00-4:00 on New Years Day. The shoes are a random pair I found lying fairly far from the water--I like the perspective, kind of gives the impression of someone that's kicked them off to go into the water. Think I'll call it "the Awakening" (if you've read the book).
For the sun image, I know it's probably not good to overexpose the camera, but I liked the subdued glare it captured over the water.
